Prunus africana

In recent years, BBPP has noticed a severe uptick in the illegal harvesting of the bark of the wild African plum tree, Prunus africana, for use in prostate therapy. When too much of the bark is sheered off, the tree dies. BBPP has documented some of this harvest in photos, but otherwise has taken no action.
