Mark Andrews

Mark Andrews studied as a participant on Arcadia s Center for Education Abroad program on Bioko Island in 2007 before returning to Bates College where he earned a B.A. in Spanish Literature in 2009. During his senior year he received a research grant to return to Malabo where he conducted interviews with local writers, which formed the base of his senior thesis about the literature of Malabo. In addition to organizing the study abroad program, Mark teaches an Equatoguinean Literature and Culture class which features weekly readings and talks with local writers.
