Dr. Shaya Honarvar joined BBPP in 2007 to study Bioko Island sea turtles. She completed her MS at the University of Pennsylvania and her Ph.D. at Drexel University working on the nesting ecology of olive ridley sea turtles in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
